    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

 FOR HOUSE BILL 36

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 8, line 20, strike "nine" and insert in lieu thereof "eleven".

     2. On page 8, line 25, strike "four" and insert in lieu thereof "five".

     3. On page 9, line 2, after "banking", insert a comma and strike "and".

     4. On page 9, line 3, after "capital", insert ", entrepreneurship or technology businesses."

     5. On page 9, line 5, strike "and".

     6. On page 9, line 7, after "designee", insert: "; and

                (5) the secretary of economic development, who may vote only in order to break a tie vote".

     7. On page 10, line 10, before the period, insert "; except that no member of the board may participate in or influence an investment decision in which that member has a conflict of interest, pecuniary interest or other disqualifying interest respecting an enterprise considered by the board. All members shall certify annually and in writing compliance with this provision.".
