AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT FOR TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN COMPUTER MODELING AND SIMULATION FOR USE IN INSTRUCTING AFTER-SCHOOL CLUBS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2015 to support teacher professional development in computer modeling and simulation for use in instructing after-school clubs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
