AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO FUND A TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS AND RUNAWAY YOUTH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to provide a transitional living program in Bernalillo county that offers temporary shelter, board, living skills education, behavioral health services and social services to children who are aging out of foster care and to homeless and runaway youth who are sixteen to twenty-one years old. Any unexpected or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
