AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PAY OFF LOANS FROM THE WATER TRUST BOARD.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixteen thousand four hundred dollars ($16,400) is appropriated from the general fund to the water project fund for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to pay off loans from the water trust board to the acequias Madre and Monte del Rio Chiquito in Talpa and Ranchos de Taos in Taos county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
