Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
SENATE BILL 250
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 2, line 2, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "representatives and students from the New Mexico school for the blind and visually impaired and the New Mexico school for the deaf; children traveling for medical-related purposes; government or private" and after "personnel", insert "; and other persons authorized by the department".
2. On page 3, line 17, strike the ending quotation mark.
3. On page 3, between lines 17 and 18, insert the following new subsection:
"E. The department shall prepare an annual report showing the name, affiliation and date of travel for each passenger carried on a state aircraft during the preceding year. If a passenger is a minor on the date of travel, the department shall list the minor passenger's age instead of the minor passenger's name in the annual report. The department shall not include information in the annual report that relates to a passenger's medical treatment or any other information protected as confidential medical information or protected health information pursuant to state or federal law. The department shall publish the annual report on the sunshine portal internet web site and shall provide the annual report to the legislative finance committee each year with the department's proposed budget."".
