AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE FARMERS' MARKETS IN NEW MEXICO.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to develop and promote farmers' markets in New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2013.
