AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER TO TRANSPORT AUTOPSY SUBJECTS HOME AND TO PAY FOR UTILITIES AT THE OFFICE OF THE STATE MEDICAL INVESTIGATOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred sixty-five thousand one hundred dollars ($565,100) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 for the health sciences center to pay for the return transport of autopsy subjects and to pay for utilities at the office of the state medical investigator. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
