FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

 

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER TO INCREASE ENROLLMENT IN PRIMARY CARE NURSING IN FISCAL YEARS 2014 AND 2015.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million eight hundred eighty-one thousand seven hundred dollars ($2,881,700) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal years 2014 and 2015 to increase enrollment in the university of New Mexico health sciences center's primary care nursing education program by twenty-four students each year. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2015 shall revert to the general fund.
