AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER FOR STAFFING OF HEALTH EXTENSION RURAL OFFICES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred ninety-six thousand six hundred dollars ($496,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 for the health sciences center to staff health extension rural offices. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
