Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 483
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On pages 2 through 4, strike Section 2 in its entirety.
2. On page 5, line 23, strike "two members; and" and insert in lieu thereof "one member;".
3. On page 5, strike lines 24 and 25 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:
"(5) the majority floor leaders of each chamber shall each appoint one member; and
(6) the president pro tempore of the senate shall appoint one member.".
4. On page 6, line 2, strike both occurrences of "May" and insert in lieu thereof "July".
5. On page 8, line 7, strike "June" and insert in lieu thereof "September".
6. On page 9, line 12, after "cases", insert "in coordination with the state personnel office".
7. On page 9, line 19, after the semicolon, insert "and".
8. On page 9, line 22, strike "; and" and insert in lieu thereof a period.
9. On page 9, strike lines 23 through 25 in their entirety and on page 10, strike lines 1 through 4 in their entirety.
10. On pages 15 and 16, strike Section 13 in its entirety.
11. Renumber sections to correspond with these amendments.
