AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY STUDIES FOR CHAPTERS OF THE NAVAJO NATION.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to conduct economic development feasibility studies as related to the new century economic development initiatives for the Crystal, Sanostee, Red Lake, Mexican Springs, Twin Lakes, Rock Springs and Tsa-Ya-Toh chapters of the Navajo Nation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
