    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 408, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. Strike House Judiciary Committee Amendment 1.

    2. On page 6, lines 14 through 18, strike the underscored material and insert in lieu thereof:

         "FF. a class A county with a population in excess of five hundred thousand, according to the most recent federal decennial census, that has adopted its own procurement code by ordinance and which has been approved by the state purchasing agent. The state purchasing agent shall approve the local procurement code if it is equivalent to the state Procurement Code.".
