AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. COMMISSION FOR AN ACT AND SAT PREPARATION PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the Martin Luther King, Jr. commission for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to provide for an ACT and SAT preparation program and program evaluation in Bernalillo county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
