Mr. Speaker:

    Your TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 155

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 12, strike lines 8 through 10 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following:

                "(18) of each fee collected pursuant to Subsection J of Section 66-3-16 NMSA 1978, an amount equal to:

                     (a) three dollars ($3.00) of the fee to the disability fund; and

                     (b) two dollars ($2.00) of the fee to the motor vehicle suspense fund to cover the costs of administering the placard program pursuant to this 2013 act.".

     2. On page 12, between lines 19 and 20, insert the following new section:

     "SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2013.".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
