HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 155, as amended

    1. Strike House Transportation and Public Works Committee Amendment 1.

    2. On page 4, line 12, after "charge", insert "no more than".

    3. On page 4, line 16, after "deposit", insert "three dollars ($3.00) of".

    4. On page 4, line 18, after the period, insert "Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 66-2-16 NMSA 1978, transactions for placards are not subject to fees imposed on

transactions by Section 66-2-16 NMSA 1978 that are in addition to

the fees imposed by this subsection.".

    5. On page 12, strike lines 8 through 10 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new paragraph:

             "(18) of each fee collected pursuant to Subsection J

of Section 66-3-16 NMSA 1978, an amount equal to:

                  (a) three dollars ($3.00) of the fee to the disability fund; and

                  (b) two dollars ($2.00) of the fee to the motor vehicle division to cover the cost of administering the placard program.".
