Your ENERGY AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 136
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 2, line 1, strike "is" and insert in lieu thereof "will be" and after "performed", insert ", at least thirty days prior to the performance of the hydraulic fracture,".
2. On page 2, line 13, strike "and" and between lines 15 and 16, insert:
"(4) provide the hydraulic fracturing chemical registry form or equivalent information to the landowner of the property on which the relevant well is located and to the landowners of property adjacent to the property on which the relevant well is located;
(5) provide the hydraulic fracturing chemical registry form or equivalent information to the oil conservation division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department that is nearest to the property on which the relevant well is located; and
(6) publish in a newspaper of general circulation in the relevant county an announcement indicating the availability of the hydraulic fracturing chemical registry form of equivalent information in the oil conservation division office and the address and contact information for the office;".
and thence referred to the AGRICULTURE AND WATER RESOURCES COMMITTEE.
