AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO PROVIDE TRAINING TO 4-H ADULT VOLUNTEERS WHO ASSIST 4-H YOUTH WITH THEIR 4-H PROJECTS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five thousand dollars ($5,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to allow the cooperative extension service to pay for a meeting room and workshop materials for 4-H adult volunteer leaders statewide to learn how to assist 4-H students with their 4-H projects. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
