AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A COMMUNITY BICYCLE RECYCLING PROGRAM FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN THE SOUTH VALLEY OF BERNALILLO COUNTY AND THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF ALBUQUERQUE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2014 to allow Bernalillo county to contract with a community organization for a community bicycle recycling program for underprivileged children residing in the south valley of Bernalillo county and the northwest quadrant of Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2014 shall revert to the general fund.
