    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 71

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, line 9, strike "and" and between lines 9 and 10, insert the following new paragraphs:

                "(6) the willingness of the university of New Mexico to issue work force training certificates in a more expeditious manner;

                (7) the willingness of the university of New Mexico to evaluate the efficacy of existing degree and certificate programs and to make changes to the branch's offerings; and".

     2. Renumber the succeeding paragraph accordingly.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
