    Your HEALTH, GOVERNMENT AND INDIAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 5

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 15, under the Other State Funds and Total columns strike "5,912.2" and "6,122.9" and insert in lieu thereof "6,740.6" and "6,951.3", respectively.

     2. On page 2, line 16, under the Other State Funds and Total columns strike "72.3" and "72.3" and insert in lieu thereof "72.8" and "72.8", respectively.

     3. On page 2, line 17, under the Other State Funds and Total columns strike "1,671.6" and "1,671.6" and insert in lieu thereof "1,701.0" and "1,701.0", respectively.

     4. On page 2, line 19, strike "office" and insert in lieu thereof "officer".

     5. On page 3, strike lines 6 through 9 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

"The purpose of this program is to manage and conserve New Mexico's public wildlife resources and associated habitats for the benefit of the wildlife and for hunters, anglers and other wildlife users. Actions include the procurement and progressive management of wildlife habitat, providing technical assistance services and consultation to both public and private landowners and other affected interests regarding wildlife management and working to educate all sectors of the public about the wildlife resources of New Mexico.".

     6. On page 3, line 12, under the Other State Funds, Federal Funds and Total columns strike "4,491.3", "4,947.1" and "9,438.4" and insert in lieu thereof "4,798.7", "5,086.5" and "9,885.2", respectively.

     7. On page 3, line 15, under the Other State Funds and Totals columns strike "3,498.1" and "8,122.1" and insert in lieu thereof "3,563.6" and "8,187.6", respectively.

     8. On page 5, line 7, under the Other State Funds and Total columns strike "3,792.0" and "3,908.2" and insert in lieu thereof "4,065.6" and "4,181.8", respectively.

     9. On page 5, line 8, under the Other State Funds and Total columns strike "569.9" and "569.9" and insert in lieu thereof "573.4" and "573.4", respectively.

     10. Revise all totals and subtotals to correspond with these amendments.,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
