A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
ADOPTING A JOINT RULE TO REQUIRE ALL COPIES OF LEGISLATION AND OTHER DOCUMENTS TO BE DOUBLE-SIDED.
WHEREAS, Legislative Joint Rule 8-1 provides that joint rules may be adopted, amended or repealed by concurrent resolution approved by two-thirds of the membership of each house;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, that the following new joint rule be adopted to read:
"COPYING OF LEGISLATION AND OTHER DOCUMENTS
All copies of bills, resolutions, memorials, amendments, substitutes, committee reports, analyses and memorandums shall be double-sided."; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the new joint rule proposed by this resolution take effect immediately prior to the adjournment of the second session of the fiftieth legislature; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the legislative council service be directed to compile the new joint rule appropriately.
