AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND FOUR DENTAL STUDENTS FROM NEW MEXICO IN THE DENTAL PROGRAM OF THE WESTERN INTERSTATE COMMISSION FOR HIGHER EDUCATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to pay for tuition, books, fees and materials for four students from New Mexico in the dental program of the western interstate commission for higher education. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
