FOR THE LEGISLATIVE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE

 

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND PROGRAMS IN THE CONSUMER AND ELDER RIGHTS DIVISION AND SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE AGING NETWORK SERVICES DIVISION OF THE AGING AND LONG-TERM SERVICES DEPARTMENT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million three hundred thousand dollars ($2,300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the aging and long-term services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to fund programs in the consumer and elder rights division and services provided through the aging network services division of the department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
