AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARDS OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO, NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY AND EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO IMPROVE PUBLIC TELEVISION BROADCASTING OPERATIONS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--

          A. The following amounts are appropriated from the general fund to the following entities for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 as follows:

                (1) forty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($47,500) to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico to improve the KNME-TV public television broadcasting operations;

                (2) forty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($47,500) to the board of regents of New Mexico state university to improve the KRWG-TV public television broadcasting operations; and

                (3) forty-eight thousand four hundred dollars ($48,400) to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university to improve the KENW-TV public television broadcasting operations.

          B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
