AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR USE IN FUNDING A TRADITIONAL HEALING TRAINING PROGRAM IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY FOR TREATING PERSONS IN NORTHERN NEW MEXICO WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RELATED DISORDERS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 to fund a traditional healing training program in Rio Arriba county for treating persons in northern New Mexico with substance abuse and related disorders. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
