AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE VETERANS' SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO STUDY THE NEED FOR A STATE CEMETERY FOR MEMBERS OF THE UNITED STATES NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the veterans' services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 for a study on the need for a state cemetery for members of the United States national guard and reserves in collaboration with the department of military affairs, the cultural affairs department and the general services department. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
