    Your VOTERS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 92

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 3, lines 5 through 10, strike Subsection F in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new subsection:

          "F. The secretary of state shall work with the motor vehicle division to:

                (1) ensure compliance in the application of the provisions of this section with the federal National Voter Registration Act of 1993; and

                (2) establish procedures for the electronic transmission of voter registration information that is completed by registrants in accordance with the provisions of this section, taking into account the capabilities of each county and developing technology."".
