AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF BURN INJURIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2013 for the New Mexico burn center at the university of New Mexico hospital to provide multi-disciplinary care in the treatment of burn injuries and to provide community outreach and education to prevent the occurrences of burns. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2013 shall revert to the general fund.
