A MEMORIAL

CONGRATULATING DENNIS CASADOS UPON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND HIS PROMOTION TO COACH OF THE SANTA FE PREP HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM.

     WHEREAS, Dennis Casados assumed the position as head coach for the Santa Fe prep boys basketball team, beginning with the 2011-2012 school year; and

     WHEREAS, Dennis started the basketball program at Capital high school and later served as the school's athletic director; and

     WHEREAS, he served in the same capacity at Santa Fe high school, retiring in 1997; and

     WHEREAS, he began working for the house of representatives sergeant at arms in 1999 and has been the house purchasing agent since 2006; and

     WHEREAS, he is retiring from work with the legislature;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that Dennis Casados be congratulated upon his new endeavor in the coaching field and recognized for his many years of service to the legislature and his community; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be transmitted to Dennis Casados.
