SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to SENATE BILL 547, as amended

    1. On page 8, line 14, after the comma, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 15 through 18 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "can reasonably be expected to be seen or heard by at least five hundred persons eligible to vote for the candidate and is published or disseminated within thirty days before the first day that voters may vote on an absentee ballot in person at the county clerk's office in an election at which the candidate is on the ballot;".

    2. On page 10, line 10, after the comma, strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 11 through 15 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof "can reasonably be expected to be seen or heard by at least five hundred persons eligible to vote for the candidate or ballot measure and is published or disseminated within thirty days before the first day that voters may vote on an absentee ballot in person at the county clerk's office in an election at which the candidate or ballot measure is on the ballot;".
