    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 418

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 5, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following new subsection:

         "J. Districtwide discipline policy shall preempt an individual school's discipline policy.".

    2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

    3. On page 6, after line 25, insert the following new section:

        "SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2012.".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
