    Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 386

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 4, line 5, strike "and".

    2. On page 4, line 12, strike the period and insert in lieu

thereof a semicolon.

    3. On page 4, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following

new paragraphs:

             "(8) the impact over an initial five-year period

and the impact over the long term of a New Mexico health benefits

exchange or a single, statewide, self-insured health plan on health

care quality and timely access to care; and

             (9) the impact over an initial five-year period

and the impact over the long term of a New Mexico health benefits

exchange or a single, statewide, self-insured health plan on health

care providers, including the effect of these plan designs on the

health care industry in New Mexico.",

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
