AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SCHOOL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE FOR OPERATING AND MATCHING FUNDS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the school leadership institute for expenditure in fiscal year 2012 and subsequent fiscal years for operating expenses and matching funds to leverage private funding for the institute's public-private partnership initiatives. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
