    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 232

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 20, before "EXEMPTING", insert "REQUIRING THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ENSURE THAT PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS AUTHORIZED TO ADMINISTER BUPRENORPHINE RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR OFFICE-BASED BUPRENORPHINE TREATMENT SERVICES;".

    2. On page 2, line 12, before "patients", insert "to".

    3. On page 2, between lines 14 and 15, insert the following new subsection:

         "C. The department shall ensure that a primary care provider authorized to administer buprenorphine receives payment for office-based buprenorphine treatment services.".

    4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
