Mr. President:

    Your CORPORATIONS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 178

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 6, strike "dialysis facilities,".

    2. On page 2, between lines 24 and 25, insert the following new subsection:

         "E. Receipts from payments by the United States government or any agency thereof for medical, other health and palliative services provided by a dialysis facility to medicare beneficiaries pursuant to the provisions of Title 18 of the federal Social Security Act may be deducted from gross receipts according to the following schedule:

             (1) from July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, thirty-three and one-third percent of the receipts may be deducted;

             (2) from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, sixty-six and two-thirds percent of the receipts may be deducted; and

             (3) after June 30, 2013, one hundred percent of the receipts may be deducted.".

    3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
