    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 73

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, strike "IF MONEY IS AVAILABLE".

     2. On page 3, lines 19 through 22, strike Subsection H in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof:

          "H. On or before June 1 of each year, the department shall allocate up to fifty percent of each school's allocation. On or before January 15 of each year, the department shall recompute each allocation using the first reporting date for that year and shall allocate the balance of the annual appropriation, adjusting for any overestimation or underestimation made in the first allocation."".,

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
