HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 51, as amended

    1. On page 5, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 3. TEMPORARY PROVISION--PERSONNEL STUDY.--The state personnel office shall conduct a study and identify those employees who were transferred from exempt positions to classified positions in 2009 and 2010 without following the law and state personnel rules. The office shall report to the governor and the legislative finance committee by July 1, 2011 on the findings of the study.".
