    Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 43

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, lines 11 and 12, strike "REQUIRING THE PUBLIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT" and insert in lieu thereof "ALLOWING SCHOOL DISTRICTS".

     2. On page 5, line 13, strike "the department shall establish a system to allow those".

     3. On page 5, line 14, strike "that choose to" and insert in lieu thereof "may".

     4. On page 5, line 14, after the word "participate", insert "in a program".

     5. On page 5, line 16, strike "specified".

     6. On page 5, line 17, before the period, insert "specified in rule".,

and thence referred to the EDUCATION COMMITTEE.
