    1. On page 5, line 1, after the comma strike the remainder of the line, strike line 2 in its entirety and strike line 3 through the comma and insert in lieu thereof "appointees determined by the New Mexico legislative council,".,

and thence referred to the PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE.
