    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 96

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 23, after the paragraph designation "(3)", strike the remainder of the line and strike line 24 in its entirety and insert in lieu thereof "constitutes gross mismanagement, a waste of funds, an abuse of authority or a substantial and specific danger to the public.".

    2. On page 3, line 3, after the subsection designation "A.", strike the remainder of the line, strike line 4 in its entirety and strike line 5 through the second occurrence of the word "or" and insert in lieu thereof "communicates to the public employer or a third party information about an action or a failure to act".
