    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 178

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 2, line 17, before "with" insert "after a hearing and".

     2. On page 3, line 4, after “prescribe” insert “including court ordered monitoring of the person”.

     3. On page 3, line 15, strike “shall” and insert in lieu thereof “may”.

     4. On page 4, between lines 19 and 20, insert the following section:

     "Section 5. LIMITATION.--No person is eligible to participate more than twice in the substance abuse treatment option pursuant to the Substance Abuse and Crime Prevention Act.".

     5. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
