    Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 173

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 11, strike "TEMPORARY" and after "PROVISION", insert "OF THE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE ACT".

     2. On page 1, line 20, before "[NEW MATERIAL]", insert "A new section of the Public Assistance Act is enacted to read: "" and strike "TEMPORARY PROVISION--".

     3. On page 1, line 22, strike "By December 1, 2010, the" and insert in lieu thereof "The". 

     4. On page 1, line 23, after "collect", insert "and make public annual".

     5. On page 1, line 24, after "facility", insert "medicaid".

     6. On page 2, line 2, after "analysis", insert "of rates and audited allowable costs".

     7. On page 2, line 5, strike ", 2011" and insert in lieu thereof "of each year".

     8. On page 2, line 13, after the period insert “The medicaid nursing facility reimbursement rate is subject to appropriation by the legislature.”
