AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EARLY VOTING PRECINCT STAFF, INCLUDING NATIVE LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand     dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of the secretary of state for expenditure in fiscal year 2011 to fund early voting precinct staff, including native language interpreters at early voting sites. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2011 shall revert to the general fund.
