has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO NOT PASS, but that

HOUSE TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE

 FOR HOUSE BILL 119

DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 1, line 12, after the semicolon insert "TEMPORARILY".

     2. On page 18, line 5, strike "An" and insert in lieu thereof "With respect to a municipal environmental services gross receipts tax imposed with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but

before July 1, 2014, an".

     3. On page 20, lines 22 through 25, and on page 21, lines 1 through 3, remove the brackets and line through.

     4. On page 21, line 3, after "section" insert ", and any increment that is imposed with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014 shall be subject to a referendum as provided in Subsection D of this section".

     5. On page 22, lines 11 though 14, remove the brackets and line through.

     6. On page 22, line 14, before "shall" insert "and any increment that is imposed with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".

     7. On page 23, lines 13 and 14, remove the brackets and the line through.

     8. On page 23, line 14, strike the underscored "any" and before "of" insert "or any increment with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".

     9. On page 23, lines 19 through 22, remove the brackets and line through.

     10. On page 23, line 19, strike "Imposition" and insert in lieu thereof "Except as provided in Subsection A of this section, imposition".

     11. On page 25, line 2, after "tax" insert "with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".

     12. On page 29, line 3, after "tax" insert "with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".

     13. On page 30, line 9, after "tax" insert "with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".

     14. On page 32, line 7, after "tax" insert "with an effective date on or after July 1, 2010 but before July 1, 2014".
