    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 21, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Consumer and Public Affairs Committee Amendment 2.

     2. On page 3, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following new subparagraph:

                     "(b) second, students who have a parent who is an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States stationed in New Mexico, whether serving in New Mexico or deployed elsewhere;".
