    Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 9

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

     1. On page 3, line 10, after "but" insert "on or".

     2. On page 3, line 12, after "one" insert "and one-half".

     3. On page 3, between lines 19 and 20, insert the following:

     "Section 2. TEMPORARY PROVISION.--For the 2010 taxable year, a taxpayer is deemed to have complied with the provisions of Section 7-2-12.2 NMSA 1978 if the taxpayer has made the required annual payments of estimated taxes due for taxable year 2010 based on the provisions of the version of Section 7-2-7 NMSA 1978 applicable on January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2009.".

     4. On page 3, strike lines 20 and 21 in their entirety.
