AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS OF THE NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO REGIONAL SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) is appropriated from the solid waste facility grant fund to the department of environment for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to assist in paying operational and maintenance costs of the northwest New Mexico regional solid waste authority. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the solid waste facility grant fund.
