AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS AND RUNAWAY YOUTH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to provide a transitional living program in Bernalillo county that offers temporary shelter, board, living skills education, behavioral health services and social services to homeless and runaway youth between the ages of sixteen and twenty-one. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
