AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE PROPERTY CONTROL DIVISION OF THE GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY FOR THE SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO CORRECTIONAL FACILITY AND THE JP TAYLOR JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER FROM THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five thousand dollars ($5,000) is appropriated from the property control reserve fund to the capital program fund for expenditure by the property control division of the general services department in fiscal years 2010 and 2011 to purchase from the federal bureau of land management the real property currently occupied by the southern New Mexico correctional facility and the JP Taylor juvenile justice center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2011 shall revert to the proprerty control reserve fund.
