AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS IN DONA ANA COUNTY TO IMPROVE FATHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIPS IN YOUNG FAMILIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2010 to support programs in Dona Ana county to improve the quality of father-child relationships in young families. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2010 shall revert to the general fund.
